不動の滝とは
常陸常陸大宮市舟生にある小さな滝。久慈川水系にあり、渓流名は滝沢川。
不動の滝という名前の滝は全国にあり、この滝もその中の一つ。
高さ10mほどの小さな滝だが、山間にあるのどかな集落の風景と、豊かな緑の中で荘厳な雰囲気がある。
傍には不動明王を祭った小さい祠があり、瀧の腋を通ってお参りができる。
季節によって周囲の植物とともにさまざまな顔を見せる滝は、集落の水源として大切に扱われている。
