鹿嶋灯台とは
鹿嶋灯台は1971年3月に点灯した白亜の灯台。
海沿いではなく高台の住宅地の中にある、一風変わった灯台でもある。
高さは32メートル。日本国内の灯台の中でも8番目の高さがあり、高台にあるため灯火の高さは水面から63メートルの高さになる。
周辺は民家なので、夜間に立ち寄る際には迷惑がかからないように注意。

It is also an unusual lighthouse, located not along the ocean but in a residential area on high ground.
It is 32 meters high. It is the eighth tallest lighthouse in Japan, and because of its elevated location, the light is 63 meters above the water.
The surrounding area is home to private residences, so please be careful not to cause a nuisance when stopping by at night.
