善光寺と楼門
石岡市北部に位置する吾国山に登る散策路の終点にある寺院と、その楼門。
楼門は室町時代中期に建立され、木造建築では日本でも最古の部類になる。国の重要文化財にも指定されている。
由来によると、1501年3月、当時の小田城の城主、小田成治の母が善光寺如来を深く信仰しており、万代安穏としてこの場所を選んで寺を建てたと言われている。
楼門をくぐると、石段が続いており、小田一族の墓が並んでいる。
石段の先には本堂があるが一部が崩壊しており、修復中のため、危険なので近付かないようにしたい。
なお、この散策路は茨城森林浴の道No.78に指定されている。

The Zenkoji Temple and its Gate Tower
This temple is situated at the conclusion of a walking trail that ascends to Mt. Gokoku in the northern region of Ishioka City, along with its two-story gate.
The gate was constructed during the Muromachi period and is one of the oldest wooden structures in Japan. It has also been designated as a national important cultural property.
According to tradition, in March 1501, the mother of Oda Shigeharu, the lord of Oda Castle at the time, was a devout believer in the Zenkoji Nyorai Buddha. She selected this location for the temple in the hope that it would bring peace and prosperity to the region.
Subsequent to passing through the gate, one encounters stone steps leading up to the graves of the Oda family.
The main hall is located at the end of the stone steps; however, due to the collapse of a portion of the structure, it is currently inaccessible and undergoing restoration. Therefore, it is inadvisable to approach the site.
Furthermore, this trail is designated as Ibaraki Forest Bathing Path No. 78.

這座寺廟位於石岡市北部通往護國山的步道的盡頭，擁有兩層樓的大門。
門建於室町時代，是日本最古老的木造建築之一。它也被指定為國家重要文化財產。
據傳說，1501年3月，時任織田城主織田重晴的母親是善光寺如來佛的虔誠信徒。她選擇這個地點建造寺廟，希望能為該地區帶來和平與繁榮。
穿過大門，就會看到通往織田家墳墓的石階。
大殿位於石階盡頭；然而，由於部分結構倒塌，目前無法進入並正在進行修復。因此，不建議接近該地點。
另外，這條路線被指定為茨城縣森林浴道第78號。
